If you're involved in the WI, it may not have escaped your notice that there's a big push to make your WI a digital WI by making good use of websites, Moodle and social networks. For many, the idea of using technology is a daunting one and there are lots of people who would appreciate friendly help to increase their skills and confidence.

Northumberland Federation Bursaries 2013

This year the Federation will be awarding Bursaries in memory of two members who each made excellent contributions to the WI.

The first is in memory of Heather Abrahams who was Chairman of the Federation from 2000 - 2004 and a WI Advisor. She took a great interest in Public Affairs and Education and the Bursary will go to someone whose choice of course or training reflects this.
